At Cheaper Bin Hire, we believe in the value of adopting environmentally friendly practices and the importance of our role as part of the waste management industry in preserving the environment. We, therefore, operate with adherence to a policy of rebirthing waste materials for reuse where possible. We achieve this by separating recyclable materials from waste, allowing them to be processed into new resources and reused. This creates a continuous loop where recycled materials re-enter the economy, supporting civil works, infrastructure projects, landscaping, and residential developments.

Here’s how we process waste:

• Garden Waste and Cuttings: These are sent to a specialist facility where they are converted into compost for use in gardening and landscaping projects.
• Building Materials: Bricks and concrete are crushed and repurposed for building and civil projects, distributed through various channels.
• Scrap Metal: Steel, being the world’s most recycled material, is separated from waste and sent to Norstar Steel Recyclers. This recycling process is both economically and environmentally beneficial.
• Timber Products: We send separated timber to Bark King, which utilizes it to produce Longalife® colored mulches and recycled timber mulches.
• Soil: Soil is cleaned using a trommel screen, which filters out contaminants and produces clean soil for reuse in landscaping and civil projects.
